Homeschoolers may play sports on the local public school teams. Call your local school for more information.

Music and The Arts

• High Springs Community Theater has openings for young actors/actresses during the year and also offers a summer program.

Other

• Liberty Division, U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, a leadership program for boys and girls ages 10 to 18, is a new unit in the Gainesville/Lake City area. If you like adventure and want to build your confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills, join us!
• 4-H Clubs

Volunteer Opportunities

• Catholic Charities of Lake City - Help with the food bank, answer phones, and more.
• Ronald McDonald House of Gainesville -- Help with a variety of activities.
